1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files or similar technologies that websites can store on your device. They can be used to make a website work, remember settings, understand how a site is used and, where permitted, support measurement or advertising.
2. How askAiB uses cookies
We use, or may use, cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described below. We distinguish between technologies that are necessary for the website to operate and optional technologies used for analytics, preferences or marketing.
Where UK law requires consent, optional cookies will not be used unless you have made the relevant choice through our website consent controls.
3. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
Used where required for core website operation, security, network management or to remember privacy choices. These technologies cannot always be switched off because the site may not work correctly without them.
Preferences and functionality
Used to remember optional settings or provide enhanced functionality. If these are not enabled, some optional features may behave differently.
Analytics
Used to understand how visitors use the website, which pages are useful and how the site performs. Where consent is required for a particular analytics technology, it will remain disabled until that consent is given.
Marketing
Used, where enabled, to measure campaigns, attribute conversions or support advertising and remarketing. We will seek the appropriate consent before using marketing cookies or similar tracking technologies where required.
Anonymous website statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregated pageview figures, popular pages and general website performance. This service does not set tracking cookies or provide us with individual visitor histories. We use these statistics solely to improve the website, not for targeted advertising or to build personal profiles. You may object at any time using the control below. It applies to future anonymous analytics events in this browser.
Anonymous pageview statistics are on. You can turn them off at any time.
Google Analytics 4 is separate and only loads after you allow Statistics cookies in Cookie settings. Google Ads conversion measurement, if enabled, requires Marketing consent. Declining these optional categories does not prevent access to our site.
4. Third-party services
Some parts of our website may link to or use services provided by other organisations, for example scheduling, analytics, advertising or embedded content providers. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies and your consent choices.
Simply following a link to a third-party website may result in that third party applying its own cookies once you arrive on its service.
5. Managing your choices
When optional cookies are in use, our consent controls will allow you to accept or reject non-essential categories and change your preferences later. You can reopen your preferences at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer.
You can also control or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect parts of the website that rely on necessary storage or functionality.
6. Current cookie information
The declaration below is supplied by Cookiebot and is populated from its cookie scans. It describes the technologies detected on the configured website, including their providers, purposes and expiry periods. The production-domain scan must be checked before launch and again whenever tracking services change.
This policy and the declaration will be kept under review as website services and tracking technologies change.
7. Personal data
Some cookie or analytics identifiers can constitute personal data. For more information about how askAiB uses personal data, your rights and how to contact us, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Contact us
If you have questions about our use of cookies or similar technologies, contact DPO@askaib.com or write to askAiB Ltd, 585a Fulham Road, London, SW6 5UA, United Kingdom.
